Our note on this provider
The ADHD Centre is one of the longer-established private providers and publishes separate adult and child pricing, which is genuinely useful: many providers only quote adult fees, leaving parents to ask. Adult online assessment and child or adolescent assessment are priced differently, and in-person child appointments cost more than online ones, so the format you choose changes the fee materially. Assessments are described as being carried out by a GMC-registered consultant psychiatrist, with a detailed diagnostic report included. It may suit families who want a named psychiatrist and a written report, or adults who prefer a provider with a long track record over a newer online service. What is not published clearly enough on the pages we checked is what happens after diagnosis: whether medication titration is included, how follow-up is structured, and whether the service supports a shared-care transfer to your GP. Those are the questions that determine your ongoing cost, so ask them before booking rather than after.
