Our note on this provider

Psychiatry-UK is the most fully documented of the nationally accessible adult ADHD routes in England, which is why it appears here first. It runs two distinct pathways that are easy to confuse: an NHS-funded Right to Choose referral made through your GP, and a self-pay private assessment you can book yourself. The published private fee covers the assessment and a written opinion, and prescribing costs after the assessment are invoiced separately, so the assessment fee is not the whole cost of the pathway. If medication is part of your plan, the titration model is published as eight to twelve weeks, ending with a review before care is handed back. It may suit adults who want a remote, consultant-led route and are comfortable managing appointments online. Before paying, ask what happens if your GP declines shared care, what the total cost looks like over the first twelve months including prescriptions, and what the current Right to Choose waiting position is, since that changes and we do not restate it here as a fact.
