The pathway they publish
Assessment format
Assessment is a discussion with an allocated ADHD clinician, with family members included where appropriate, gathering past and recent patterns of behaviour. Assessments of children include observations and NICE standardised clinical questionnaires. Multiple professionals from the multidisciplinary team — nurses, doctors, psychologists and SEN assessors — may take part. The outcome is explained by the clinician and confirmed in writing.
No assessment duration is published.

Follow-up and review model
Published. Six-month medication reviews cost £75 and attendance is required for continued prescribing. Additional follow-ups beyond five titration appointments are £75 each, as are follow-ups after a transfer of care. During titration the FAQ describes clinician follow-up every three to four weeks.

Questions to ask them
- 1. Is the report accepted by my GP, and by an employer or university if I need it?
- 2. What happens if the assessment does not result in an ADHD diagnosis?
- 3. Are questionnaires, informant interviews or extra tests charged separately?

Our note on this provider
The ADHD Treatment Centre is a small East Midlands clinic assessing both adults and children, online or in person, with a nurse-led multidisciplinary team rather than a psychiatrist-only model. It is one of the few providers in this record set with a recent published regulator assessment: CQC rated it Good overall in August 2026 across both its adult service and its service for children and young people. Its published pricing is at the lower end of the private market and is broken into small, separately priced steps, so the assessment fee is easy to compare but the total cost of a medication pathway depends on how many titration appointments you need. It may suit families wanting one provider for a child and a parent, or anyone who wants a regulator-inspected service at a modest assessment price. Worth asking: which clinician type will assess you, how many titration follow-ups are typical, and what happens if your GP declines shared care. Known unknowns: no waiting time is published, and the clinic has recently changed premises, so confirm the location before booking an in-person appointment.
